Open year-round and great for family dining and large groups, the Great Adirondack Brewing Company offers an extensive brunch, lunch, and dinner menu, although it is best known for their prime rib! Other menu items include steak, seafood, and an evolving menu of comfort food. This family-run restaurant also has a full bar and features an outdoor patio that transforms into a heated yurt in the winter months.

Big Slide Brewery & Public House

Located on Cascade Road in Lake Placid and less than a mile from the Horse Show Grounds, Big Slide Brewery & Public House is a casual, family-friendly brewpub offering locally sourced food ! It's perfect for après-ski, after a hike, or following the Lake Placid Horse Show.


The Boat (where the bar is an actual boat) is a tasting room featuring a selection of craft beverages from Wood Boat Brewery along with other popular products from Clayton, NY (where they have two other locations), such as Saint Lawrence Spirits, Coyote Moon Winery, and Northern Flow Winery. The Boat is located across from the Olympic Center on Main Street.
